So my lack of weight loss is telling me that my lack of movement is a problem. So I got out on a warm day off and walked for three miles. It felt good, but I did have to stop a couple of times to sit in the park (which wasn’t all bad: I got to sit next to the softball field named for my dad and have a little heart to heart talk!) and my watch told me my cardio vascular fitness was low (duh, Siri, tell me something I don’t know). In any case, it’s another start and it felt like a good use of my time. I definitely need some me time now and then, and it does give me a quiet space to pray too.
I know I need to be doing strength training, and I know I should be boxing more, but I can’t do everything at once. Back to basics. Get moving, and the rest will have to follow.
